From: "Patrick N. North" <??????????????> Subject: Re: Pipes Digest #247 -- January 26, 1998 Hello all- A question for the group-- I recently acquired a new (to me) pipe and am puzzled by the nomenclature. The pipe is what I know only as a shepherd's pipe (it has a silver wind cap, and a chain runs from the cap to the stem) and is Swiss in origin. The letters "B.B.K." also appear on the shank. If anyone has any information as to the maker of the pipe, I'd appreciate it. By the way- I've ruled out the possibility that the pipe was owned by B.B. King. Thanks in advance, Patrick North ?????????????? [ Wilczak and Colwell lists a "B.B.K.", made in Switzerland by Ski-Heil. Though ya gotta admit, B.B. King's got a dang good set of pipes... -S. ] ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U
