Hi All!

I know that so many people start off their notes with thanks to Steve for
the wonderful job he's doing with the PD, that it almost seems a ritual. But
beyond ritual: Thanks Steve! You do the community a great service!!

And a recommendation:
If you haven't already: Try the Friedman and Peas Tobaccos.

Admittedly I've only tried Aleister so far, but oh my!! The best way I can
put this: If you have read either of Irwin or Greg in either the PD or ASP,
you cannot have failed to have sensed the passion these two gentlemen have
for our hobby (both in the form of Pipe Collecting and Pipe Tobacco
appreciation.) That passion is very clearly distinguishable in the tobacco.
I know this is going to sound extreme, but it was almost a spiritual
experience![1] I would rhapsodize for several more paragraphs if I had the
words to describe the experience more fully. But I don't. So I won't.

[1] a delicious irony if the 'Aleister' refers to Aleister Crowley!
