From: ???????????????????? Subject: posting from pipes page Dear Friends, I am hoping that one of you kind souls can help me out with this...I have an old Peterson bulldog (from around 1905 or so, I believe) that needs a new stem. I have the old stem for a sample, but I want to find someone who could make a replacement, hopefully out of that new stuff that doesn't fade as stems used to...To complicate matters, as an impecunious school teacher, I was hoping to avoid spending a fortune. Any suggestions that any of you have would be greatly appreciated. With thanks, Brad Krones [Have a look at the Resource Guide, at http://www.pipes.org/resource_guide.html , under "Repairs and Custom Carving." There are literally dozens of folks there who can do stem repairs. The last time I had one done, it cost about $25. -S.] ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U ~\U
